this is a recipe my dad had at a family friends house. it was from one of their friends. we called and got the recipe. I added Apple cider to mine. you will need a dehydrator or a way to dehydrate the apples.

this is a recipe my dad had at a family friends house. it was from one of their friends. we called and got the recipe. I added Apple cider to mine. you will need a dehydrator or a way to dehydrate the apples.
Steps
- 1
Note: this is a recipe for a dehydrator. if dehydrating a different way when you get to the last step. do what you would normally do when dehydrating things
- 2
Core and cut apples evenly. if available use an apple peeler, corer, slicer and don't use the peeler
- 3
Add apples to a large bowl with a top. add a splash apple juice/ cider. then add sugar/sugar and cinnamon substitute to your liking. Put the top on and shake.
- 4
Add apples to dehydrator trays following dehydrator's temp for fruit. for ours it's 135°F.
- 5
Dehydrate for 6-12 hours. I recommend 12.
