Cabbage Methi

An easy one pot dish for any day with a simple twist of fresh Fenugreek or Methi Leaves in it by me. This Vegetarian dish can be relished with both Rice and Rotis. Made with easily available pantry staples, this is one of the most simplest dish too. Almost every Week, I do make it a point to go with one for mealtimes especially on a Weekend or even for the Lunchbox.
Though the preparation process might seem too simple or easy, what matters is the taste. And it does taste yum. And with Fenugreek Greens added, you are rest assured about the flavour too. The best part is that it gets done quickly too. Absolutely delicious to the last bite. This dish is for keepsake. You will love it every bit and would want to make it more and more. At least once a Week or even twice if desired. Methi lends it that innate charm as well.
This one is my family's favourite. Try it out and experience it's unique taste and texture for yourselves.

Steps
- 1
In a pan, heat some Oil and add the Ginger-garlic paste. Saute it for a few seconds and then add in the chopped Fenugreek Leaves. Fry for a few seconds before adding the grated Cabbage. Saute it on a low heat with all the powdered spices for about 4-5 minutes. Also, add chopped Green Chillies. And then leave it to cook on it's own with a lid on.
- 2
Cook for about 12-15 minutes. Do not add water. It will be done easily. If desired cook it for a little longer duration if you prefer it to be a bit crisper. Otherwise, it is done in just about 20 minutes in all.
