Steps

Wash all amla, dry with a kitchen towel

Now cut amla in small pieces

Transfer chopped amla in a mixing bowl

Add salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, jaggery, mango pickle masala,dry mango powder

Now prepare a tempering, for this, heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and cumin

Once it crackles, add asafoetida,lower the flame, cook for 30 seconds till it turns aromatic

Now pour this tempering on dry spices and amla mixture

Combine everything well,so that all flavours should get merged and keep aside for minimum 30min

Amla pickle is ready to serve
