Homemade Almond Milk
It only takes 2 ingredients to make almond milk.. just raw almonds and water. The other ingredients are optional add in's.
Steps
- 1
Place the almonds in an airtight container and cover them with cold water. Cover them and let sit overnight (or a minimum of 4 hours). In the morning, drain the almonds and rinse them off, then place them in a blender with 3 cups of filtered water. If you'd like to use any of the optional add in's, add them into the blender as well.
- 2
Blend for 2ish minutes, until everything looks milky and pretty well blended. Then strain the liquid into a large bowl using a nut milk bag or cheesecloth. Squeeze out all the excess liquid. Then that's it. Pour the almond milk into an airtight container like a mason jar and store in the fridge.
- 3
The almond milk will stay good for 3-5 days.
