Roasting here is not done as this is roasted gram that is being used. So just keep it handy as the jaggery gets done. Also keep a greased plate handy too.

Meanwhile heat a teaspoon of ghee. Add jaggery and water to it. Cook on a low heat until it starts melting. As soon as it bubbles and becomes frothy, drop a small bit of it in a bowl of water. If it hardens and can easily retain shape, it's time to add in the gram. It should snap easily when we try to break it. Mix well vigorously and remove onto a greased plate or any surface. See to it that the roasted gram is nicely coated with the syrup.

Take this out onto a plate. Try to form laddoos while it's still hot because otherwise it hardens as it cools down. And it becomes nearly difficult to make them. Grease your hands if required and make laddoos of your desired size. That's it. Let them cool down to the room temperature.

Relish these with a hot glass of milk everyday. Kids would love it and so would the adults as well. Healthy and wholesome plus delicious and delightful. Enjoy!
