Cooking Instructions

Peel and grate the beetroot.

Whisk the yogurt until smooth, then add the grated beetroot and pomegranate seeds.

Add the green chili and cilantro leaves, and mix well. Now add salt, roasted cumin powder, and chaat masala. Mix thoroughly.

Transfer the beetroot raita to a bowl. Garnish with extra pomegranate seeds, a sprinkle of red chili powder, and cilantro leaves. Serve.

Your tangy beetroot raita is ready. Serve it as a side with your meal; it tastes delicious.

If you like, you can also add a tempering of cumin seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, and curry leaves, or enjoy it as is.
