Fluffy Pancakes with Drawings

I found pancakes made with cute drawings on them in a magazine, so I adopted the idea and used honey for this recipe. I also arranged the way to draw. The sugar in the honey browns quickly so that the drawing comes out clearly. These sweet fluffy pancakes are great plain. Make a lot and freeze to store them. Reheat in the microwave for a fresh-baked taste.
It's better to draw the whole picture without stopping. If you make a mistake, wipe it with a paper towel or let it cook through and peel it off.
Set the heat to low while you're cooking the pancakes. The first pancake will tend to turn out uneven with brown spots, so it's better to draw a picture from the second one. For 5 pancakes. Recipe by masa*mizu

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pancake batter: Mix ● ingredients in order listed. Mix after each addition. Rest the batter for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- 2
Batter for drawing: Take 3 tablespoons of batter, add the honey and mix well. Put the batter into a container like the photo. I bought it at a 100 yen shop.
- 3
Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Wipe excess oil with a paper towel. Move the pan and set on a wet towel to cool it down and enable even cooking.
- 4
Draw anything you want with batter from Step 2. Don't hesitate, draw it in one go! Return the pan to the heat, cook until the surface has dried.
- 5
Remove from the heat again to cool.
- 6
Pour the pancake batter. (Shake the pan back and forth to make a round shape.)
- 7
Turn on the heat, cook for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes on low heat.
- 8
When the large bubbles appear...
- 9
Flip and cover (to make them fluffier) cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Place the pancake on a tray, cover with plastic wrap (this makes them soft and fluffy). Of course, you can eat them immediately.

The secret to cooking the surface evenly is to set the pan on a wet towel while pouring the batter.

I reduced the amount of baking powder from a recipe book and made these fluffy pancakes. When cooking, cover with a lid and heat over medium-low.Even my six year old daughter could make this easily, so I changed the steps so that all you need to do is mix.Rather than becoming mushy, you want the pancakes to fluff, so adjust the milk in the batter accordingly.
