I thought up this recipe because I wanted a cute and quick bento item.

Easy to make in no time.
You can use mayonnaise to affix the eyes and nose if you can't stick them on directly.
Instead of the bottom piece of hanpen, you could use a cube of cheese or a hard-boiled quail egg. For 2 pieces. Recipe by Mihochinww.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1Wiener sausage (red)
  2. 1Hanpen (as needed)
  3. 1Fish sausage (to taste)
  4. 1Nori seaweed (a little)
  5. 1Imitation crab stick (a little)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut the tip off the sausage.

  2. 2

    Cut the fish sausage about half the width of the sausage tip.

  3. 3

    Cut the hanpen into a square.

  4. 4

    With a different piece of hanpen, use a straw to poke a hole. (The hole piece will be the pom pom on Santa's hat).

  5. 5

    Use a straw to poke a hole in the red part of the crab stick.

  6. 6

    Use a craft punch to cut tiny circles from nori seaweed for the eyes.

  7. 7

    With a pick, skewer the hanpen pom pom, then the sausage tip placed on top of fish sausage. Lastly, add the hanpen cube. Stick on the eyes made of nori and the nose made of crabstick.
