Green Peas Jeera Rice

Rinse and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Pressure cook with salt for 2 whistle. Cool and keep aside. In small container parboiled fresh green peas in water,salt and a pinch of sugar. Strain and Keep aside.

In cooking pan add heat ghee. Do tempering of cumin seeds and bay leaf.

Add parboiled green peas, salt and saute for 2 minutes.

Add cooked basmati rice, finely chopped corainder leaves and mix well. Transfer it in serving plate.

Serve Relish Delicious Hot Green Peas Jeera Rice with fresh curd/ kadhi, papad.
