For kadhai masala- dry roast Coriander seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli whole, black peppercorns, fennel and pound them.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion, tomatoes, cashews and chilli and sauté them till tomatoes becomes soft and mushy. Blend when it cools.

In the same pan, add little oil if required, and add cumin seed, ginger-garlic paste, onion and capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cook for a minute.

Now add our gravy and salt and cook till oil is separated.

Add paneer and our homemade kadhai masala. Add little water to adjust consistency. Cook for 2-3 minutes. And than serve hot with lacha parantha/ roti/ naan.
