Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery for a few minutes.

Add the mince and cook until just done.

Stir in the tomatoes, paste, chutney, herbs, salt and pepper and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti until al dented (cooked but firm to the bite) and set aside.

Serve the spaghetti in deep soup bowls, topped with the meat sauce and sprinkled with cheese.
