Chop paneer and shallow fry in oil until slightly brown. Careful not to crumble or overcook it. Take out with slotted spoon and put in bowl with kitchen towel to drain oil.

Brown onions and add fresh chilli and cumin seeds, fry for 1 min. Add bay leaf.

Add a bit of water and spices, turn heat down so doesn't burn. Make a paste and fry for 1-2 min

Add tomatoes and some hot
water and bring to boil. - 5
Simmer for 5 min. Then add paneer and simmer for another 5 min

Boil frozen peas or mix veg. Add to pan.

Add pinch of methi leaves
