I flavored this simply so that it goes well with all kinds of alcoholic drinks.

This Japanese-flavored tartare is light and fairly low in calories. (You can omit the egg yolk if you prefer. It's suggested you omit it if you're not too confident about the freshness of the eggs.)
Try it topped with avocado. They go very well together. For 1 to 2 servings. Recipe by putimiko

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 100 gramsSashimi grade maguro (lean tuna)
  2. 1 tspUsukuchi soy sauce
  3. 1teaspoon~ Extra virgin olive oil
  4. 1 dashLemon juice
  5. 1/2 cloveGarlic
  6. 1Salt, black pepper
  7. 1Garlic or buttered toast
  8. 1optional *Egg yolk

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop the tuna with a knife. Grate the garlic. Put everything in a bowl and mix well, and it's done. Please adjust the amount of garlic, lemon juice and soy sauce to taste.

    Serve with garlic toast, plain toast or crackers. (I've used very little soy sauce and olive oil, so please add more to taste.)
