Simple and Refreshing Vinegar Happosai Stir-Fry

Just a bit of vinegar brings out the delicious flavor. This is a standard in our household.

If the katakuriko clumps together when added, then turn off the heat first before adding, then heat again. This makes it less likely to clump.
Make sure to properly heat the katakuriko or else it won't thicken.

Ingredients

  1. Main ingredients:
  2. 100 grams○Pork (thinly sliced)
  3. 1○Peeled shrimp
  4. 2/3○Carrot
  5. 1/2○Onion
  6. 4leaves ○Chinese or napa cabbage
  7. 3○Green peppers
  8. 4○Shiitake mushrooms
  9. For the seasoning:
  10. 1 tbsp☆Oyster sauce
  11. 1 tbsp☆Sake
  12. 1 tbsp☆Soy sauce
  13. 1 tbsp☆Vinegar
  14. 1 tbsp☆ Chinese soup stock
  15. 150 ml☆Water
  16. 1 dashSalt and pepper
  17. 1 1/2 tbspeach Katakuriko slurry

Cooking Instructions

    Massage salt, pepper, and sake (not listed) into the pork and peeled shrimp. Cut the vegetables into your desired sizes and mix in with the ☆ flavoring ingredients.

    Lightly fry the pork and shrimp first in a little bit of oil, and remove from the pan.

    Add a small amount of oil and fry and vegetables, starting with the hardest.

  4. 4

    Return the pork and shrimp to the frying pan and lightly mix in the ☆ ingredients from Step 1.

    Adjust the flavor with salt and pepper. Mix in a small amount of sesame oil (not listed) from the edges of the pan. Add the katakuriko evenly and mix quickly.

    And it's complete.
