Mama's Quick Beef Curry
A thick and delicious curry to pair with paratha or rice. 😋 This recipe requires a whistle pressure cooker.
Steps

Wash the beef and marinate with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp turmeric.

Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pot on low. Add the cumin and all the dry spices (cinammon, cardamom, cloves). Well roast. Add 4 leaves of ramba (pandan).

Add onions on high heat. Fry until translucent. Reduce heat to medium and add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Once the garlic is well fried, add the green chilies.

Reduce heat to low. Add all the powdered spices and 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric.

Raise heat to medium. Add the tomatoes and the yoghurt. Break up the tomatoes. Add the beef. And put on high heat for 2 minutes.

Transfer everything to the pressure cooker. Add one cup of water to the original pot, use it to wash and then pour that water into the pressure cooker.

Add coriander leaves to the pressure cooker. Close the lid and keep the heat on high.

When it's almost going to whistle, reduce the heat to medium and set the clock for 20 minutes.

Transfer to your old pot and adjust curry based on taste. Let it simmer for 20 minutes until it comes to the desired consistency.
