Steps
- 1
Gather the ingredients and place them near the cooking area.
Wash the mushrooms well. Remove the stalks, (don't throw them. you can use the stalk to make Vegetable stock). Dry the tops with a clean towel - 2
Stuff 1 tablespoon of grated cheese into the umbrellas.
In a mixing bowl add all the spice powders, chopped coriander, and salt along with the flour. Add enough water to make a thick batter. Add proper amount of water. The dough should be the right consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. - 3
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once oil is hot, you can use it for deep frying. Dip each stuffed umbrella into the batter. make sure that the entire mushroom is completely coated with the batter. Drop the coated mushroom into the oil with the top above. use two spoons for lifting the mushroom from the batter. carefully transfer them to the hot oil. Cheese side should be on top.
- 4
Add oil frequently to the top of the pakoda with a spoon. Flip it, only then the pakoras will be well cooked on all sides. You can tell if it's cooked or not All sides should be uniformly golden brown.
Remove from oil and place the fried pakoras on a paper towel to remove excess oil from the surface. Then transfer the pakoras to the serving plate and taste and
serve with chutney or even ketchup, I served the pakoras with tomato pickle, chili sauce. HAVE FUN
