Ingredients

20 minutes
4 people
  1. 400 gThin sliced beef (shaved)
  2. Water
  3. 4 TBSSugar (brown sugar)
  4. 7 TBSSoy sauce
  5. 3 TBSmirin
  6. 2 TBSSake (cooking wine)
  7. 1 TSPGinger (ground)
  8. Salt
  9. Cooked white rice
  10. Halfonion

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut onion and beef

  2. 2

    Deep pan, medium heat
    Put beef and sake in the pan and cook until color changes

  3. 3

    Add onion and salt (little pinch), cook 1 minute

  4. 4

    Add water
    And add sugar, say sauce, mirin, ginger

  5. 5

    Cook low heat for 15 minutes

  6. 6

    Pour over rice and serve
    You can add chili garlic if you like spicy

  7. 7

    I like add egg (beaten) and green onion (optional)

Easy to follow directions. I found the amount of sugar to be much too much, and I only used half of what the recipe calls for. I would have liked a specific amount of water in the recipe (I over did it by half), maybe start with 100ml ? Hopefully it’ll go better next time.
