I love eating broccoli covered with thick sauce.
I was cooking sakura shrimp, and I had broccoli so I just combined them together.

You can microwave the broccoli instead of boiling it during Step 1 if you like. For 2 servings. Recipe by Tooruyomecchi

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 headBroccoli
  2. 1 tbspSesame oil
  3. 3 tbspDried sakura shrimp or small shrimp
  4. 2 tbspOyster sauce
  5. 1 tbspMirin
  6. 1 tsp◎ Cooking sake
  7. 2to 3 tablespoons ◎ Water
  8. 1as required Katakuriko slurry

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the broccoli into an easy to eat size, boil in salted water to your liking. Remove from pot and drain in a colander, and set aside. Note: Don't forget to include the stalk.

    Heat sesame oil and shrimp in a pan over medium heat. Once the shrimp start to spit and release their aroma, reduce the heat to low.

  3. 3

    Add the ◎ ingredients in turn from the top of the ingredients list and stir. Reduce the sauce for about one minute. Add katakuriko dissolved in water to thicken the sauce to your liking.

    Place the broccoli on a serving plate and cover with the sauce.
