Peel and dice your yam keep aside.used a clean pot set it on a medium heat of fire and pour palm oil or vegetable oil,diced onion and,fry them very well for some minutes.

After frying add your chopped or granded pepper, onions and garlic fry them very well and pour water in,add your maggi,spices and salt and crayfish to taste,close the pot.

After deep boiling check if every taste in the pot is okay if yes then pour your diced yam close the pot and allow it to be well cooked.
