Ketchup Flavored Stir-Fry: Great with Pork or Chicken

My mother used to make a fritter version of this for my bentos, which I adapted to a stir fry.
Ketchup and aonori seaweed powder go so well together.
I used some thinly sliced shabu-shabu pork for the version in the photo.
Please adjust the amount of sweetness to taste. The 5 g of condensed milk or sugar is just a guideline. You can omit both if you like.
You can add more aonori seaweed powder if you like. I recommend adding plenty.

Cut the meat up into easy to eat pieces and put in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise and mix. Coat the meat with katakuriko.

Stir fry the meat in a frying pan over medium heat until cooked. (If the meat is very lean, add a little oil first.)

Combine the ★ ingredients in a bowl to make the sauce. It already has mirin in it, so taste before adding the condensed milk or sugar; it may already taste sweet enough for you.

Add the sauce to the frying pan and mix well. Add some aonori seaweed powder to finish!

You can even make this with chicken skin. A lot of oil comes out of chicken skins, so wipe it out before adding the sauce to the frying pan.
