Curd cookies

Looks like mini croissants, but the dough is different, thus tastes like cookies. Very easy to make and you can see from the cover photo, that it vanishes from the table very fast 😅.

Looks like mini croissants, but the dough is different, thus tastes like cookies. Very easy to make and you can see from the cover photo, that it vanishes from the table very fast 😅.
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 160 C.
- 2
Mix together curd, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla extract with electronic blender (I think it is called muddler hand in English).
- 3
In a separate bowl mix flour and baking powder and add part by part to the dough. Mix everything each time after adding more flour. Keep adding until the dough will not stick to your hands, but will still be elastic (I had some leftover flour after this, thus used it in a following step)
- 4
Spread some leftover flour on the table (or if you do not have any, add additional flour). And roll the dough into a circle (I divided the dough into two parts, so that there would be two smaller circles instead of one large)
- 5
Cut the circled dough into slices like pizza (I made 16 slices from one circle). Then roll each slice from the outside to the center of the circle which will form it into croissant shape.
- 6
Add it on baking tray covered with baking paper. Cover each cookie with blended egg and put into oven.
- 7
Spread some sugar powder on top before serving. Enjoy! 😊
