A Bento Item "Green Bean and Pork Rolls"

Frozen green beans are so convenient!
When making bentos, you don't have to boil them first, so they're even more convenient!
I love rolling things, so I tried rolling green beans!
The cut side is so cute!

Roll very tightly, and start cooking the rolls seams down.
Use frozen green beans so that you don't have to boil them before rolling them!
If using fresh green beans, blanch first. For 1 bento serving. Recipe by Makitoin

  2. 2

If you made tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) for the bento, you can just cook these in the same pan! It'll cut down on your cleaning!

  3. 3

Pan-fry the rolls over medium-low heat until lightly browned on the outside. Roll them around to brown the whole surface.

  4. 4

Cover with a lid for 1-2 minutes to cook through. Add the * ingredients. Let the soy sauce hit the hot surface of the pan to sizzle!

  5. 5

Cut the rolls in half to show off the pretty pattern on the cut side and pack in your bento box.
