Mix both dal and poha.wash it 3-4times.and add baking soda.Cover it.Soak for 5-6Hrs.

Now grind mixer with same water. Add curd and churn.Prepare a batter like dhokla and Beat batter with fingers for 4-5min.and ferment for 6-7hrs.

Now mix ginger chilli paste salt asofoetida turmeric powder and oil.
Take half batter in another bowl. Add 1/2Cup water to adjust consistancy.Grease oil in a plate. (Consistancy is not so runny but thin.)Add 1tsp.eno and few drops of lemon juice. And pour in a steamer plate. Sprinkle garam masala.
Steam for15 min. - 4
Meanwhile mix red chilli powder black salt chaat masala in a bowl.

Locho is ready.Take in a servinv plate. Sprinkle red chilli powder mixture.Drizzle melted butter or oil. Serve chopped onion and sev.
Tasty Surti locho is ready to serve. SERVE WITH CORIANDER CHUTNEY.
