Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1Beef brain
  • 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • 5 tbspCooking oil
  • Tomatoes 2 blended
  • Onion 2 medium
  • 2 tbspYogurt
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspChilli powder
  • 1/2 tspWhite pepper
  • 1 tspRoasted cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspRoasted Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1/4 cupWater
  • Fresh coriander chopped to garnish
  • Green chilli to garnish

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pot, add water, brain, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and bring it to boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes.

    Let it cool, remove the veins, chop it into small chunks, set it aside.

  3. 3

    In another pan, fry onions until golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, saute it.

  4. 4

    Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, chilli powder, white pepper, black pepper. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Add blended tomatoes and yogurt. Cook on medium flame until oil seperates.

  6. 6

    Now add beef brain, mix well

  7. 7

    Add roasted cumin and Coriander seeds, garam masala, add water let it simmer on low flame for 10 minutes or until cooked.

    Garnish it with chopped fresh coriander and green chilli
