Steps

In a wok heat 1 Tbsp butter and add Makhana, roast on medium flame and set aside

In the same wok heat 2-3 Tbsp butter and add whole garam masala, 1/2 sliced onions and cook to soften. Add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, cashew nuts, green chillies and cook for 2-3 mins

Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and cook to soften the the tomatoes

Set aside, cool and add to a blender adding little water to make a paste

In the same wok heat rest of the butter and add rest of the sliced onions and cook to soften, add the paste and add 1 cup hot water. Simmer to get a thick gravy

Add roasted Makhana and stir well.

Set aside

Garnish with coriander and enjoy 😊
