In a pot where you will cook the stew, heat the oil and cook the diced pork. Remove and set aside. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and meat seasoning

In the same pot, add chopped onions and sauté until softened. Add minced garlic, grated carrots, chopped broccoli, and chopped hot pepper, and sauté for about 5 - 10 minutes until the carrots are tender

While the carrots are cooking, rinse the soaked pearl barley several times until the water becomes clear. Drain the water

Add the barley and meat to the pot with the sautéed vegetables, pour about 400 ml of water (or broth) over them, cover the pot, and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes to 1 hour, until the barley is tender. If the barley absorbs all the water while cooking, add a little more
