I like stir-fried pineapple, so I tried stir frying it with beef, with added grated cheese for richness.
If you like the pineapple in sweet and sour pork, please give this a try.

Drain the canned pineapple well.
Stir-fry over high heat to evaporate the moisture that comes out of the cabbage. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by mama deko

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 200 gramsBeef (I used thinly sliced round)
  2. 200 gramsCabbage
  3. 3 sliceCanned pineapple
  4. 1pat Butter
  5. 3 tbspJapanese Worcestershire-style sauce
  6. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  7. 1 tbspMirin
  8. 2 tbspGrated cheese (I used Kraft Parmesan Cheese)
  9. 1Black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put the butter into a frying pan, and stir-fry the beef and cabbage.

  2. 2

When it's halfway cooked add the Worcestershire-like sauce, soy sauce and mirin, and continue stir frying. Add the pineapple which has been cut into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

When the sauce has reduced a bit add the black pepper and grated cheese, and mix in.

  4. 4

Finished. The sweetness of the pineapple and the richness of the cheese go well with rice or drinks. Try it out!

  5. 5

    I used Kraft Parmesan Cheese.
