I made Soyabean Muithya. Muithya is a very Bangal cuisine made mainly with Chitole fish. I made with Soyabean and it’s lip smacking

Wash the Soyabean granules, boil for 3-4 mins, drain and extract water, add to a blender

Make a coarse paste, add to a bowl, add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste, salt and mix well

Add Besan and mix well, make oblong shape Muithya

In a wok heat oil and on medium flame add the Muithya and fry, set aside

Peel the potato and cut. In a wok heat oil and add cut potatoes, pinch of turmeric powder, salt and fry, set aside

In the same oil add whole red chilli, bay leaf, whole garam masala, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and stir for 2 seconds.

Add chopped tomato and cook to soften, add 1 Tbsp ginger-green chilli paste, turmeric powder,Hing, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook with little water, till oil surfaces

Add fried potatoes and 2 cups water, cover to cook for 10 mins

Add fried Muithya and on high flame cook for 4-5 mins. Muithya will be cooked

Add ghee and garam masala powder, mix and switch off the flame. Let the spices infuse with Muithya

Plate and serve with steamed rice
