These burgers are made with ground pork leg and seasoned just like I do when making longaniza sausage. They turned out great. Make sure they are fully cooked before serving. You can grind the pork yourself or buy it already ground.

PAN BRIOCHE PARA HAMBURGUESAS. # 2. JON STYLE

2.2 lbsground pork (about 1 kg)
1 teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoononion powder
1 tablespoonsmoked paprika
1 teaspoonground cumin
1 teaspoondried oregano
2 teaspoonssalt
1/4 teaspoonground black pepper

Mix the spices in a small bowl. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with the mixed spices.

Divide the meat into 7 portions and shape each into a burger patty.

Cook the burgers on a griddle or grill. Serve on brioche buns with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
