Ingredients

30 minutes
5-7 servings
  • Beef seasonings
  • 2 poundsthin cut beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Ginger powder (optional)
  • Vegetables
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 1 1/2 cupsbroccoli
  • 1 cupbaby carrots (in 1/3rds)
  • 1 cupwhite onion (sliced)
  • 1/2 cupwhite mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tbspgarlic (minced)
  • Sauce
  • 1/3 cupless sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsptoasted sesame seed oil
  • 1 tbspGinger
  • 2 tbspbrown sugar/brown sugar substitute
  • 1 tbspgarlic (minced)
  • 1 tspsesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tspXantham gum/cornstarch (optional)

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and cut all vegetables to desired size. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Add all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until incorporated. Set aside.

    Preheat pan with 2 tbsp of olive oil on med-high heat. Season both sides of the beef with seasonings to taste. Cook beef until both sides have a good sear. Remove from pan and slice beef to desired length. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Lower to low-med heat. In the same pan add onions and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add remaining garlic, cook until fragrant. Add remaining vegetables, cook 2-3 minutes.

    Add sauce and beef into pan with vegetables. Cook until desired doneness/ sauce thickness. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy!
