Curry Flavored Deep Fried Cheese-Stuffed Chikuwa Fish Sticks

Try this in bentos, or as a snack with drinks!
The batter is flavored with Krazy Salt and curry roux, so they are very tasty as-is without any sauce.
The cheese will melt out of the ends of the chikuwa if you fry if for too long, so do it quickly... About a minute is enough. For 2 chikuwa sticks. Recipe by Erueru286

Steps
- 1
Cut the cheese into approximate strips. Cut the chikuwa in half, and stuff in the cheese. Cut the chikuwa in half again.
- 2
Mix together the tempura flour, water, curry powder roux, and Krazy Salt (3-4 shakes). Roll the chikuwa for step 1 around in the mixture, and quickly fry up in oil over medium to strong heat.
- 3
Drain off the oil and they're done! Take a look at my recipe for cheese-stuffed nori flavored chikuwa fries too.
