Beautiful looking Parathas with split Milk Kalakand are a sweet treat to our tastebuds. It's loved by all. Made at home with split Milk Kalakand, these are absolutely delicious and wholesome. Whenever there's split Milk, these can be whipped up too. Kalakand is so very easily made without much trouble.

I have shared many different varieties of Kalakand with split Milk on my profile here. These Parathas can be made with any variation. They would be equally great and delightful. Kids as well as the adults would love them for a change at the Breakfast table. Though these are absolutely good on their own, they can be served with Kheer or some sweet Curd or Aamras if it's the Season or even special sweet Lassi. The options are endless.

Ingredients

25-30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 2 cupssplit Milk Kalakand
  2. 2 1/2 cupsWheat flour or Sharbati Gehun Aata
  3. 1/2 tspSalt
  4. 2 tspGhee or Clarified Butter
  5. as neededWater
  6. Oil or Ghee as needed for roasting

Cooking Instructions

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

Drain split milk so that it is free of the water or the whey at first. Add this to the kadai or a pan. On a low to medium high heat, cook until the liquid content is considerably decreased. When it is almost dry, add sugar, cardamom powder and just a little ghee. Mix well and roast until a lovely aroma emanates. Adjust sugar accordingly. You can add less or more. Leave it to cool down.

  2. 2

Divide the dough into your desired sized balls. Roll each into a small disc. Place about a good 2 tablespoons of this kalakand on it. Gather all the edges and bring it to the centre, pinch it and close it well and then roll into a medium sized disc as seen. Roast each on a low to medium high heat with a generous amount of ghee or the clarified butter.

  3. 3

Follow the same for all. That's it. Relish these delicious sweet parathas for breakfast. Yum!

  4. 4

Serve these as it is or even alongside kheer or sweet curd. Enjoy!
