Ingredients

  1. Stiffing
  2. 250 gramspaneer, grated
  3. 1onion, finely chopped
  4. 1/2capsicum, finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cupshredded cabbage
  6. 4-5Crushed garlic
  7. 2crushed Green chilles (optional)
  8. 1/4 cupfinely chopped coriander
  9. 1/2 teaspoonCumin powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli powder or black pepper powder
  13. 1 teaspoonchaat masala powder
  14. 3-4 tablespoonsSathu flour
  15. as neededOil /ghee for roasting parathas
  16. Dough
  17. 3 cupswhole wheat flour
  18. 1/4 cupalmond powder
  19. 1 pinchSalt
  20. 1/4 cupmilk, with cream if you like
  21. 2 tablespoonsoil, divided

Cooking Instructions

    Add Sathu flour, it helps in binding as well as absorbing the excess moisture. Mix and prepare the stuffing.

    Mix wheat flour, almond powder, salt, 1 tablespoon oil and knead the dough using mixture of cream, milk and water. Apply the remaining oil and keep covered until the stuffing is getting prepared.

    Mix the chopped and shredded vegetables in a bowl, also add the masalas and salt

  4. 4

    Pinch a big lemon size dough, smooth it and make a cup like cavity in it. Add a teaspoon full of the stuffing or more.

    Cover by folding sides and bringing in the centre. Seal and press.

    Dip in dry flour and roll into thick roti.

  7. 7

    Heat tawa, roast paratha from both sides. Apply ghee, oil or butter to cook.

    Yummy parathas are ready to be packed for the lunch. Can have with Pickles, raita, chutney or sauce.
