I used to squeeze and drink grapefruit juice every morning, but I jumped on the green smoothie boom and came up with a new version. My family drinks this every morning.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2leaves Kale
  2. 1Grapefruit
  3. 1Banana (frozen)
  4. 1/2Carrot
  5. 1/4Apple
  6. 200 mlor more Mineral water
  7. 2 tbspChia seed powder (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel the grapefruit, also removing the pith. Peel the carrot and apple and chop everything into chunks, including the banana.

    Chop the kale leaves and stem into pieces.

  3. 3

    Place all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until even.

  4. 4

    Blend until smooth and no rough bits remain.
