Ingredients

  • Dredge
  • 2/3 cupall purpose flour
  • 2/3 cupcornstarch
  • 1 teaspoonseasoned salt
  • Batter
  • 2 cupsself rising flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoonseasoned salt
  • 16 ouncesLa Croix lemon sparkling water
  • Fish
  • 2 poundsswai filets boneless and skinless
  • As neededpeanut oil to deep fry in

Steps

  1. 1

    Had the cornstarch and flour in One bowl. Mix it well. In another bowl add all your batter mixture together and make sure you stir It up well. Heat your oil.

    Bridge the fish in the cornstarch flour mixture. Coat both sides. That rest for about at least 30 seconds to a minute. Then add the batter mixture.

    When the oil is hot take the fish out of the batter mixture. Allow all the excessive amounts of batter. You can allow to drip off before putting into the hot oil. Fry till done it will vary in time due to the thickness of the fish. My fish is done move to a paper towel to absorb excessive amounts of oil.

    Repeat until done. Serve, I hope you enjoy!!
