Sabudana or sago is obtained from the roots of plants and is rich in carbohydrates. So people of India, usually use sago to get energy and nutrition during the fasting.

On normal days sago can be used to prepare dishes, in many ways for breakfast as it lasts longer. Here, I have prepared green peas with sago to make delicious balls with tomato pickle for breakfast.
