Makes 16 small pastries or 10 to 12 medium ones
  • 7 ozraw arracacha, grated or processed (200 grams)
  • 7 ozraw yuca, grated or processed (200 grams)
  • 12 ozfresh cheese or queso fresco, crumbled (350 grams)
  • 7 ozmasa harina (corn flour) (200 grams)
  • 3 tablespoonssugar
  • 1small egg
  • 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  • Salt

    In a bowl, mix and knead all the ingredients together.

    Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
