Microwaved Shrimp with Chili Sauce Microwaved Shrimp with Chili Sauce
I first learned about sweet chili sauce on Cookpad. I wondered if this could make a quick shrimp in chili sauce. I found a bottle at the supermarket and tried it with roast chicken and pork. The label said it has chili peppers, sugar, vinegar, sesame, and lots of other spices. I looked through other Cookpad recipes that used the sauce, and combined it with microwave recipes by Harumi Kurihara (a TV cooking star and cookbook author) to make a super-fast shrimp with chili sauce. This is even easier if you use peeled shrimp. The microwave cooking time varies depending on the size and amount of shrimp, so stop the microwave a little early and check. Recipe by Okaraseijin cookpad.japan -

Shrimp with Chilli Sauce or Mayonnaise Sauce Shrimp with Chilli Sauce or Mayonnaise Sauce
I sometimes feel like eating Chinese food, but I don't make it much since it's quite high in oil. I tried to make this dish as oil-free as possible.Sweet chilli sauce is the key to this dish. I used homemade mayonnaise this time. If you serve this dish with finely shredded cabbage it will make the dish itself lighter. You don't want to waste even the shells of the shrimp. They will yield good flavour to the dish. When you discard the shells they are cooked so they won't be so smelly. Recipe by Kukkuri cookpad.japan -

Sweet Savoury Pasta Meat Sauce Kid-Friendly (Bolognese) Sweet Savoury Pasta Meat Sauce Kid-Friendly (Bolognese)
Here in Manila we love our spaghetti a bit sweetish and very saucy. 😋 So both the kids and kids at heart love it.This was gone after the first two sets of guests arrived! Spaghetti is always a crowd pleaser in gatherings here. You can use your favorite pasta on this too.Sweet tomato / spaghetti sauces are readily available in our supermarkets in Manila. If there aren't any in your area, just add brown sugar to adjust the sweetness. :) I still use fresh tomatoes when making pasta sauce, as it enhances the flavor (which is not common practice here). My rule is, don't just open something and heat it, always add to it and make it your own! 😊 I also combine different types/flavors of the tomato/spaghetti sauces, because it makes the end result better and tastier. I used aurora sauce as a dressing for a sauté.The broth from the shrimp is incorporated with the simple sauce, making a nice and juicy flavor. The mayonnaise will prevent burning and help add a nice glaze to the shrimp. I also like sprinkling in red chili peppers. Give it a try if you'd like! For 2 servings.
