Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs throughly.

Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Blend into the wet mixture.

Roll into 1” balls. Stir cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar together. Roll balls in sugar mixture. Place 2” apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes
