Cut all the ingredients as you like. Parboil the shirataki noodles beforehand. ● Tip: See ★1, 2, 3 for extra deliciousness.

★ Prepare the warishita sauce: Mix the seasonings. Using sake (Japanese rice wine) (★1) helps remove any odor, tenderizes the meat, and lets the flavors soak in.

Heat beef fat in an iron pot. (★2) Using wagyu beef fat will upgrade even inexpensive meat. The aroma and flavor come from the fat.

Spread the onions on the bottom (★3). Grilling them brings out their sweetness. Place about 1/4 of the beef on top, then sprinkle sugar over the meat first (adding sweetness to the ingredients first).

Add sake, mirin, and soy sauce. ● Add water little by little as needed, since vegetables will release water.

Arrange the rest of the ingredients and simmer gently without a lid, adding water as needed. ● You can also simmer everything together in the mixed warishita sauce.

● Adjust the sugar and soy sauce to your taste. ● Dip the cooked ingredients in beaten raw egg before eating.
