Boil potatoes until tender

Brown bacon and leave in frying pan and set aside for later

Let potatoes cool in water 10 minutes is enough preheat oven to 350

Cut potatoes in half then gently spoon out middle leaving a thin white ring place on baking sheet lightly greased i use cooking spray... I use parchment paper helps prevent burning on the bottoms and sticking

Melt 1/2 stick of butter and brush butter on potatoe "skins" lightly salt and place in oven until they are lightly golden 20 to 30 minutes

While potato skins are browning in oven mash the insides of the potatoes in a bowl with 1/2 stick butter, dash salt, dash pepper and garlic salt, dump cheese and bacon with the bacon grease

Take out skins and fill with mashed potato mixture top with a little shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 20 minutes
