Steps
- 1
Start by cooking your quinoa as directed on your the bag of quinoa or Rinse quinoa in a fine mesh sieve until water runs clear, drain and transfer to a medium pot. Add 2 cups water and salt and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer until water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.
- 2
Now, chop up your onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms(I usually dice my bell pepper and onion).
- 3
Wait until you have about 5 or so minutes left for the quinoa to be fully cooked and throw your vegetables in with the quinoa.
- 4
Once the quinoa and vegetables are done cooking you can throw in you cream of mushroom soup. Make sure your quinoa is not liquidy and if it is strain the juice out
- 5
Let simmer for around 3 minutes and you're done! You can add any spices. I usually add in some Mrs. Dash, red pepper, oregano, black pepper, nature's seasoning, and sometimes Sazon. God bless✝️😊
