Mexican Nachos
You can serve these with grilled steak, carnitas, or barbacoa.

Arrange the tortilla chips on a large plate in a mound, sprinkle with Chihuahua or Monterey Jack cheese, and melt in the microwave until the cheese is bubbly.

Spread the refried beans evenly over the melted cheese and chips, then add the cooked chorizo, pico de gallo, chopped romaine lettuce, sour cream, crumbled queso fresco, and finally the sliced pickled jalapeños.

Slice the grilled steak into strips and add on top, or shred the carnitas or barbacoa and sprinkle over the nachos.

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
