Refreshing and packed with veggies! This dish is simply delicious. My 3-year-old daughter loves this shishamo nanbanzuke and always asks for it.

In a small saucepan, combine the Nanban Marinade ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour into a container and add the vegetables to soak.

Season the shishamo with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch. Heat oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the shishamo on both sides until golden and crispy.

Marinate the cooked shishamo in the vegetable and marinade mixture. Chill well in the refrigerator before serving.
