Easy Pan-Roasted Edamame Snack
A simple snack you can make just by roasting edamame in a skillet. The aroma of toasted sesame oil makes it delicious, even after it cools!
Recipe background: I created this easy snack as the perfect pairing for my beer-loving husband. The tender texture of roasted edamame and the nutty aroma of sesame oil make it a great match for beer.

Steps
- 1
Rinse the edamame. (I use edamame still on the stem, but you can leave the stems on if you like.)
- 2
Heat the sesame oil in a skillet. Sprinkle the edamame with salt, then cook over low heat, turning occasionally.
- 3
When the surface starts to brown, increase to medium heat and continue roasting until the pods are nicely charred.
- 4
Transfer to a plate and serve!
