I had shirasu and green onion in the refrigerator... so I made onigiri. You can also eat it as fried rice.

I used green onion because the color looks nice but it is also delicious using Japanese leek. Add more shirasu if you like. Be careful about the amount of salt you use. _. Recipe by Yuripi0309

Ingredients

  • 1bowlfull Plain cooked rice
  • 1heaping tablespoon Shirasu (boiled and dried baby sardines)
  • 2to 3 Green onions or scallions
  • 1 tspRoasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tspSesame oil
  • 1 pinchSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the ingredients.

    Heat 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry the green onion and shirasu.

    Mix plain cooked rice, stir-fried shirasu and green onion and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

    Form into onigiri to finish!
