Steps

Finely chop and pound the shrimp.
Finely chop the onion. - 2
Once finely chopped, put the fish cake, shrimp, onion, and ☆ ingredients into a plastic bag. Knead well until the fish cake is crushed and the ingredients are well combined.

Wrap with shumai wrappers. (You can also cut the wrappers with a knife and coat the filling for a delicious result)

Optionally, top with green peas for color. Line a steamer with parchment paper and place the shumai with spaces in between to prevent sticking.

Steam for about 7-10 minutes until done~!!
Enjoy with vinegar soy sauce!!

Additional notes
I lined the steamer with parchment paper.
Added sesame oil to the ingredients.
Increased the amount of shrimp.
