Coleslaw with Drained Yogurt and Cabbage

[Featured in Magazine & Cookpad News]
A healthy coleslaw using drained yogurt.
Whole grain mustard adds a nice touch.
The story behind this recipe:
I used to mix mayonnaise and yogurt aiming for a healthier option.
I wondered if I could make it mayonnaise-like using only yogurt...
One day, I tried mixing it with leftover drained yogurt, and it turned out great!
I added whole grain mustard for an extra kick.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Drain 2 tablespoons of yogurt.
Use your preferred method!
Since it's a small amount, I use a tea strainer in a teacup!
Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes as a reference. - 2
Mix the drained yogurt with whole grain mustard and season with salt and pepper.
*Adjust the amount of whole grain mustard to your liking.
- 3
Combine with the shredded cabbage.
This time, I also added cucumber and ham.
It's ready! The recipe photo shows it topped with black pepper.

Coleslaw Coleslaw
I get asked all the time "how do you make your coleslaw?" I always say I just throw some ingredients together until it tastes right... and that's what I really did. Well I finally took the time to measure and actually write it down. This is how I make mine, but you can adjust any of the ingredients to your own taste preference.Make sure you make the dressing separately and it tastes right before you mix it in with your veggies.
