Add all the meat mixture ingredients to a bowl and knead well until sticky and combined.

Heat oil in a skillet. Shape the meat mixture into small balls and add them to the pan. Cook over medium heat until browned, then flip, cover with a lid, and cook through completely.

Turn off the heat and wipe out any excess oil from the pan. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the meatballs. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
