Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 1/2 packmaitake mushrooms
  • 1/4 packtofu
  • 1/2-1 sheetfried tofu
  • Chopped green onions, if available
  • 1 2/3 cupsdashi stock (about 400 ml)
  • Miso, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Break apart the maitake mushrooms. Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces. Slice the fried tofu into strips.

  2. 2

    Bring the dashi stock to a boil, then add the maitake mushrooms and tofu. Once the maitake mushrooms are cooked through, add the fried tofu and dissolve the miso to finish.

    Serve in bowls and top with green onions if desired.
